who wants to get to know Franconian cuisine should definitely book in the Albrecht-Dürer-Stube. there you can meet many touris but also the locals are always happy to go there. as an appetizer we had the Albrecht-Dürer-Teller. before the fried bloodworst we had a little grused, but - oh wonder - she was very delicious. as a main dish lamb exactly right roasted. the brokkoli might have been a little too soft, but still ok. There was a Franconian black Riesling as recommended by the friendly service - fits very well. two also very tasty desserts and then two more cooks. especially recommended: eberesche. overall great eating, friendly service, new tasteful experiences and all too moderate trip...

Had Nürnberger Würstchen with Sauerkraut, potato salad and a beer. Food was sturdy and well prepared, not pricy given the location in the centre of old town, just opposite the Albrecht Dürer house/museum. Waitress was lovely but rather stressed due to the high number of guests. Mixed crowd, both locals and tourists seem to congregate at this restaurant.

typical and tasty restaurant, both in the environment and in the quality of eating. I recommend booking in advance, as it is quite small. it may happen that one shares the table with other guests, as is often the case in Germany, but that was not unpleasant, in the opposite. excellent suppening, meat, beer and desserts. absolutely recommended!
