I have visited a lot of restaurants all over the world, and I experienced different cultures, different quality of services, but I can bravely state that Cafeteria Alcalá in Cullera is one of the best of its type. The reasons are very simple, here I can feel like a Royal Guest. Not only, because of the food is very delicious, but for the warm welcome I experience during each of my visit. The stuff always smiles at me, and all the other guests, and I think it is rooting in the culture of the restaurant. If you ask me what the secret could be, I would say every group performs well if the leader is an example to follow. I can see the owner every day doing big and small things walking up and dow...
It is really good to see, there is a restaurant in Cullera with a separate menu for vegans, but the dishes were not as good as the menu promised. I ordered the Peruvian salad and the Pitágoras sandwich. The chickpeas listed as an ingredient in the salad were missing (they had run them out), and the sandwich had tasteless unseasonally tasted tofu with lots of vegetables (which hardly saved the result). Once said, there are not many restaurants with vegan options in Cullera if you want to eat, so give it a chance and go for the burgers.
The staff is very helpful, friendly and precise. The food is amazingly delicious and fresh. We came here from Hungary. We have been eating at Alcala Cafeteria last year as well, and when we came back this year, all the members of the stuff remembered us. They remembered even the details about food we enjoyed and used to eat. Professional!! I love this place and it’s atmosphere!
