I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were running a promotion when I placed a delivery order. While they are located a bit further away from downtown, the food did take some time to arrive, which was to be expected. I ordered the mixed platter with a side of fries, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The addition of a real hot pepper on the side was a nice touch. Absolutely amazing kebab!! In an unassuming plaza in Scarborough lies Aleppo Kebab. The small shop is lit up with a bright orange sign you can 't miss. Immediately when walking in you 're greeted with an aroma of deliciously grilled kebab and happy voices chattering in the back. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Zakaria who told me a little bit about his story moving to Canada from Syria a few years ago. Came for dinner to celebrate the end of a week and was so happy with the meal. Delicious, great value, well spiced, cooked perfectly and comes with so many great sides. We ordered the Mixed Kebab Plate and the Aleppo Kebab Sandwich. The Mixed Kebab Plate came with a beef kebab, a chicken kebab, your choice of rice or fries, hummus, salad, grilled onion, garlic sauce and bread. So much flavor available on one plate! Each was delicious on their own, and even better combined. The Aleppo kebab was so juicy and paired so well with the wrap. I liked that it came with some hummus to add as needed. Perfect for a lunch or a light dinner. Will recommend and will be back!
I have ordered delivery from this restaurant on UberEats countless times in the past year for their BOGO promotion. I have tried both their wraps and plates, and everything has been excellent. The plates are a satisfying meal with delicious grilled kebabs (beef and chicken) on a flavorful bed of seasoned rice, served with hummus, garlic sauce, and a fresh salad. On some occasions, I have also received grilled pearl onions, a grilled hot pepper, or a grilled tomato. The food is consistently good quality and the portions are generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Delicious food, good price. I brought my family over and we ordered the big dish, it was more than enough for 4 people. The staff are very friendly. I just wish if they had bigger seating area or outdoor patio for the summer. I learned about this restaurant from a blog and decided to try the Aleppo mix. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit salty and dry, but still flavorful. The restaurant is small and the service was excellent - friendly and attentive. However, I don't think I would return here again. The bread was delicious and the kebah was okay, but overall, I probably won't be coming back.
