The food was ok, nothing outstanding. Our server was good, we were waited appropriately. The issue was the chatting of the staff, we were sitting inside, by ourselves, everyone else was at the patio. During the majority of our lunch, the staff kept talking loudly in the back, I could hear their entire conversation between them, and they were loud. It ruined the ambience of the restaurant and frankly, I was uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll visit again.
This restaurant has a incredible array of different Italian dishes that you don't normally see at an Italian restaurant. Chef Pirozzi is an amazing talented chef! We each had something different and each dish was outstanding. It is definitely a neighborhood gem in Laguna Beach. Outstanding service, ambiance and delectable food. Alessa's does not disappoint!
The food was outstanding and we will come often. However the seating outside does not represent you well. It is so crowded that the servers are hanging over the tables. Suggestion: you may want to sit back and watch. The employees are doing the best they can considering the layout. Too many tables. Sent with kindness.
The food was amazing and our server was adorable. Delicious wine too! We were a group of three couples. Two of the husbands were celebrating their birthdays. Great time—perfect place to celebrate a birthday! Réservez une table maintenant
We havent eaten here in a few years, but it was so so good! We ordered the caprese, the nodini. A Margherita pizza and the cacio e Pepe. Everything was so so good! Our waiter Micheal was great!
I think our server was high. He kept forgetting our order and he was just weird. The quality of food also went downhill. I’m not sure what happened, this place used to be one of my favorites.
Beautiful ambiance as always! Food was delicious! I ordered Salmon which tasted fresh and delicious! Service was good but not outstanding!
My favorite restaurant in Laguna Beach. I live blocks away and pop down several times a week for lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive! Réservez une table maintenant
