The atmosphere and food here are both so great. The owner (Mike) keeps the food very authentic to the Italian cuisine. It is a family owned business that I have been going to for over 20 years. I love their hot wings. They also have really good cod for a nice, light option. Their house salad is incredible and their house dressing is to die for. I always get it any chance I get. Their pizza is super great. Not too thick, but not too thin. I love getting it with cherry peppers on it! Well I was not very pleased with this resturant for a bit. However, they did redeem themselves. We called for a take out order a while ago, because we were excited to try Alfonso’s. However, we were shocked when we were informed that it would be an hour long wait for 2 pizzas, which are not difficult items to make with haste on a busy night. This is by far the longest time I have ever waited for a pizza in my life, and is pretty sad to be honest. So service, to put simply, was horrible. What a hassle to get a pizza. First, our pizza was given away to someone else with the same name- no confirmation on their part to make sure they were giving the right order to the right person. Then, we finally get the pizza 15 minutes later and open the box only to find it was half of a pizza. They made the other half as we waited around, our first half becoming cold.After all that, pizza is greasy, flimsy, and tasteless. Threw it out and going to Pizza Hut.
Aug 17, 2022 Dinner for 6 6:00 Toasted Ravioli good size serving, good tasting but sort of dry, sauce good but thin. I probably will not order again. Boneless chicken wings spiced hot very good. 18 pizza with meat very good but not excellent. Needed more cheese. Vegetarian pizza good but light on the vegetables. Room for improvement. House salads very good Noisy. Good parking.

I was passing through Illinois and stayed in Troy. I always like to try local establishments when traveling, and found Alfonso’s online. The pizza was amazing, and the young lady working the front could not have been any nicer or professional. I will not forget this place, and will eat there anytime I’m passing through.
We had a long wait to be seated due to the staffing shortage. Once seated things moved along quickly. Waitress was friendly but over worked. I was mostly disappointed in the pizza. It was very greasy and the veggies were not chopped very well. The green peppers looked like someone sliced a pickle.
We had a large group dine at Alfonzo’s tonight, and our service was awesome! Their house salad was delicious and the pizza and wings are the best in the area. Our server, Joe was so fun and really made the whole experience super enjoyable for everyone. We will be back soon.
Great for a family pizza night! Food was good and timely. Service was friendly and accurate. Owner stopped by to check on our experience and was charming without being intrusive. Thank you for your service Mike!

with the worst pizza my family and I had. I ordered online. the pizza was cold and when we were biting into the water, the diligent seemed raw with a bad sour taste. 36 bucks.
