Absolutely shocking. The food is greasy and expensive. The service is slow, but the waiting staff polite. If you sit outside be ready to be vaped as there is no smoking in the area but vaping is acceptable?? The plumes of smoke are choking. People don 't social distance, or even respect privacy, and move tables and chairs where they want, not asking or bothering if they are encroaching in your party 's tables. The absolute cherry on the cake for me was seeing a family with a disabled child arrive looking for a table and dinner. Just as their meals arrived at 650 they were advised by staff that children had to leave by 7pm. Why let the enter in the first place? It was sad to see them all tryi...
Really warm welcome when you come into the building, really good selection of Gins. The chase apple and rhubarb gin they have is really nice! The guy in the fancy shirt (I think he’s the manager, and if he’s not he should be) was really attentive (don’t know his name) but , 10/10 for customer service, really nice to see him jump in to the kitchen and help the team. A real asset to the business. The food was really nice, hot and a good selection on the menu. Will definitely be revisiting. More so for the service!
Have only ever visited on a night out but decided to try out the festive menu for a group. Very good communication with staff throughout the entire process from initial booking to attending. Some individuals had a few issues with food, ie closed clclams but this is efficiently addresses by staff. Service was good but very very cold my entire group was sitting with jackets on which wasn't the best. Would visit again for drinks
Service was extremely slow and tried to seat us in a dingy corner. Spilt our drinks when they arrived at the table and literally scurried way and left us to clean up. Looks good on the surface but staff seemed really inexperienced and not interested in serving customers (unless you were a hen party splashing the cash). Food average at best and much better bars around Windsor- avoid. Réservez une table maintenant
We had a cocktail masterclass yesterday for my sisters hen. Steve and Caitlin were absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend to anyone. There was so much flexibility for those who wanted to mix up their personal cocktails slightly for personal taste and we didn’t stop laughing the entire time. Thank you so much for kicking off our day in the best way!!
I’ll start with the slight downside: the gents WC could do with a facelift! That’s a polite way of putting it. However… Delicious Pad Thai and Fish and Chips enjoyed in a glorious setting that tourists and residents alike savour and love. Looked after with much care, knowledge and good humour by Rori and Helena. Thanks!
Brought my friends from France here for some drinks the other day. The place is amazing. The cocktails where great (especially the cosmos) , also we were served by a staff member called Helena, her service is to be commended. Thank you for the great experience we loved it, would definitely come again.
