My first visit to a Whole Foods Market was years ago, after completing a job interview in Yorkville in Toronto. I definitely remember what I got: a slice of tiramisu. At that time, it was the only Whole Foods in the greater Toronto area.Whole Foods has grown on me, likely because Markham has one and I frequent it often. I don't fit the profile of a typical Whole Foods shopper who tends to carry expensive handbags, must get everything organic, and can afford all things expensive, including tiny bottles of elixirs that extend their years on planet Earth. I like their dairy-free items. I love Carbonaut bread and the entire bakery section, including tiramisu. There are specific items that I get...
Recently stopped by Whole foods because we were looking to get some snacks. During this visit my daughter started crying and needed a diaper change. We were a bit disappointed to see that there is no family washroom and the women's washroom change table was pretty gross.We love their cheese section, the staff at the counter is quite knowledgeable and helpful.In the past we have tried their pizza and burritos and both were very good. They make the pizzas fresh after you order or you can buy a slice at the counter.The cafe downstairs has coffee, pastries and smoothies. I have gotten their chocolate smoothie a few times because it's so good!
I used to regularly shop at Whole Foods every week, but I was extremely disappointed when they changed their exchange policy after purchases were made. During the initial COVID outbreak, the store, like many others, did not accept returns but asked customers to hold onto their receipts for future returns once the pandemic subsided. However, unlike other stores that were accepting returns, Whole Foods decided they would not accept any returns on purchases made before September 1st, 2020. I was shocked by this reversal in policy and question its legality.
