Bland Mac n cheese, greens weren’t cooked long enough, cornbread was jiffy like, potato salad wasn’t tasty, ribs were cooked in oven and they weren’t tasty either. I was very disappointed being it represents soul food. You can’t cook badly and wear the title food network star. She appeared on Chef Boot Camp S1 E4. I hate to give a bad review but I’m an honest person.
As someone from the South, it's often difficult to find food that truly satisfies my palate when I'm away from home. However, thanks to Allie B's, I felt right at home. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the food was incredibly fresh, perfectly meeting all my expectations. Thank you again, Allie! Your guest from Alabama appreciates it!
Food is FIRE! I’ve been living in Albany now for 6 months, heard amazing things about this lady her food. I’m telling you to order this food NOW, do not wait like I did to try. Sooo good. Huge portions for a great price! I’m excited now to try the whole menu. Thank you Allie B’s! Much love!!!
Overall, I found the food to be quite enjoyable. I'm not upset about it. However, the fried chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor for my taste. The sides were fantastic, though I didn’t care for the potato salad—it was too tart for me. I will definitely consider returning to this place. Réservez une table maintenant
Allie B's is truly a culinary gem in the Capital District. While it may have a cozy size, it definitely delivers big on flavor, quality, and intention. The food is absolutely outstanding, and the owner and staff are among the most wonderful people I have ever encountered.
I always enjoy the food here! The barbecue sauce is top-notch, and the BBQ chicken is incredibly tasty. My absolute favorite, though, has to be the mac and cheese!
Almost as good as my mama's cooking. Portions are great can never eat all in a sitting. I love Ali B's Mac n cheese, greens, and cabbage.
