Allo Taouk - Réserver une table

Nous avons découvert cette merveille de petit restaurant hier le 7 octobre 2015 et y avons soupé.C’est ouvert que depuis 6 mois et il est situé à deux pas du célèbre marché alimentaire Mourelatos. Nous avons eu un bel accueil de la part des 2 jeunes hommes.Le menu est varié, les prix sont raisonnables et la nourriture est de qualité supérieure avec saveur et fraîcheur au rendez-vous.Une carte de fidélité nous fut remise avec la 7ième assiette gratuite après l’achat de 6 ce qui est un vivifiant incitatif. Tout est propre et joliment présenté. On commande au comptoir en toute simplicité.J’ai pris l’assiette de merguez à $8.99 et mon épouse la végétarienne à $8.49 avec 5 choix d’items. Nous avons adoré en nous délectant au superlatif.Je n’avais pas ma caméra mais avons tout de même des photos du menu, carte d’affaire et carte de fidélité pour vous en plus de la facture.Le festin libanais s’éleva à $20.10 pour les deux toutes taxes comprises ce qui pour nous fut une excellente affaire.Il y a aussi un service de livraison. J’apporterai ma caméra la prochaine fois.Longue vie à Allo Taouk. I visited this restaurant when it first opened and had a great experience with a delicious mixed plate to go. However, when I returned yesterday during lunch hour, the restaurant was empty. I should have taken this as a warning sign, as my experience this time was disappointing. When I asked about a lunch special I had seen on a menu from a few months ago, the employee had no idea what I was talking about. I decided to order a mixed plate to go, but was dismayed to see the rice and potatoes being microwaved for 3 minutes. When I questioned the employee about this, he said the food was cold and the heating trays were not turned on. Concerned about the freshness and quality of the food, I decided to cancel my order and leave. I didn't want to take a chance on eating potentially stale or frozen food.

I went during lunch hour and the restaurant was empty, which should have been a red flag. When I asked about a lunch special from a previous menu, the employee had no idea. I ordered a mixed plate to go, but was dismayed to see the rice and potatoes being microwaved for minutes. The employee explained that the heating for the trays wasn't turned on and the food was cold. Concerned about how long the food had been sitting there, I canceled my order and left, not wanting to risk eating potentially unfresh food.

You absolutely have to try this restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food is even better. It's conveniently located near the airport, so be sure to visit before your flight.
