We decided to explore the Bywater neighborhood and stumbled upon Alma. As we peeked inside, it appeared cozy, welcoming, and full of cheerful patrons. Luckily, the weather was ideal for dining outdoors. The service was friendly and attentive, and all the dishes we tried were fresh, hot, and tasty. The Honduran cuisine had a delicious flavor with a hint of Mexican influence, which we really enjoyed. I highly recommend trying their brunch menu.

Coffee was good, food not so much. The maduros were undercooked, which was just the start of a disappointing meal. Everything was oversalted and smothered in crema making what could have been reasonably good rather stodgey—and these were the recommended dishes from the waiter; who also forced the house made hot sauce on us, which was bland, barely spicy, and a $2 upcharge. We were never asked how the food was.

I ordered The Mouthfull. It was good till I got halfway through, and the eggs were cold. Partner got a dish, and it was extremely liquidity and under-flavored. The hostess at the front door seems to just be here for the money: no friendly greeting and a lackluster attitude toward her job. Waitresses and waiters all seem pleasant and happy and willing to provide a good service.

Took my Fiance to experience the Honduranian Brunch Cuisine....Food was wonderful and the crafty cocktails were delicious. Waiting Staff-Server was little unattentive and a little lack of Focus. But it happens to all of us....so not a hard criticism. Believe me, I used to be in the Svs. Industry myself. Overall, great experience and we will definitely go Back. Réservez une table maintenant

During my first visit, the crispy fries were soggy and bland, but the tacos were good. On my second visit, the chicharron was not crispy as expected, and the steak with onions lacked flavor. Overall, everything my friend and I tried was just okay, but the refried beans stood out as being really good. The drinks were good, but the service was not memorable.

All the food is delicious. The staff are for the most part, very friendly. Some items on the menu are a little over valued for what you are getting but none the less the taste great.

I found a hair in my meal at this restaurant. Although they apologized and prepared a new meal for me, it still negatively impacted my overall dining experience.

Definitely a great spot to visit before you leave Nola. The food was delicious. The only issue I had was that it felt small and a there was a long Réservez une table maintenant
