Almer Bauernkasten

Today 16.6.2023 evening we went for the dinner in this restaurant. The meal was beautiful and we ejoyed it. BUT after I paid and even gave the waitress (an old lady) tip, she recognized, that we are from Czechia. She in front of other guests told us loudly Marsch! This is very abusive word with meaning Begone! I was VERY dissapointed from this her acting. Therefore I strongly don't recommend this restaurant if you are foreigner. Ladislav Novák

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist herausragend und keiner kommt aus diesem Restaurant ohne mit einem der Kellner mindestens einmal gelacht zu haben. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und ist definitiv auch was für das Auge. Wir kommen bei jedem Urlaub in Maria Alm in den Almer Bauernkasten, weil es uns einfach immer ein Bedürfnis ist.

Almer Bauernkasten is a typical Austrian wooden chalet and we sat and had a huge salad each with beer while listening to thunder and watching the lightning flashes. Service was friendly and helpful and there was plenty of space at the table. The menu had a good variety of choices and prices were decent.

Schon lange nicht mehr so mit einem Kellner gelacht. Wunderbar. Er liest einem quasi jeden Wunsch schon vor der Bestellung von den Lippen ab. Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch und die Preise sind absolut normal. Dieses Gasthaus empfehlen wir gerne weiter.
