Aloft Chicago O’hare

I have stayed at this property a number of times when visiting the O'Hare airport area each time it has been comfortable, clean and without incident.A couple of things I think are worth mentioning though: The parking situation kind of sucks. There is a lot out front of the hotel that you can park in but the fee is $35 or so per night. I think its worth it because the other option is the parking garage which seems to be quite busy and a bit hectic, especially on weekends. I did have a couple of times that I had to go around the block waiting for a spot to open up even though I had registered my vehicle with the front desk to be able to park in the lot outside. Good place, modern design. Rooms are way nicer here than the Hilton. Could use a continental breakfast like the Embassy Suites. The Smart TVs in the room are okay but BE WARNED. I was prompted to reset guest info in order to open an app that I was using the night before... Wierd but okay. I did so, then the TV locked itself into Marriot BONVoY propaganda mode. (See video for more details) e__e Remember kids, technology by definition has to be annoying~ Also you gotta get your butt out the room early if you want room service.

Our room was dated and not clean, the bathroom tile looked grimy, floor was soaking wet by the bed not sure what it was, you could very easily hear people in the hallway. I couldn't adjust or turn off the air conditioning unit in the room. Good proximity to the airport and not a terrible room rate but I'm glad we were only there for one night before our flight.

Worst BedsIt's like trying find something in old uptownWorst Beds EVERIt was lacking a real person touchI mean for a $100 you could have raked the leaves out of our beds.Also completely understaff during a very large black pride event

Great location-close to all the fun and the convention center. Friendly front desk. Good value. Great shower and products. Nice and cold Air Conditioning for the win!
