Denne restaurant ligger lidt skjult i skisportsområdet ved Westendorf. Man skal kende vejen hertil ellers finder man ikke stedet! Men det er værd at køre efter. De laver nogle fantastiske grill kyllinger som smager helt formidabelt godt. Men kom tidligt! Kommer man efter kl. 12 på en travl dag så er kyllingerne udsolgte. Vi spiste 3-4 gange på stedet i ugens løb og prøvede også forskellige knodelretter og andet. Alt er godt og billigt. Kan klart anbefales!!
Probably our favourite mountain restaurant in Westendorf. To reach it you have to turn off the main piste 119 at the giant fake snowman (yes really!) and ski a short track through the trees. The views from the terrace over the Windau valley are great and there are deckchairs for sunny days. The food is good value, standard mountain fare. Goulash soup for a light lunch or Grostl for a bigger meal are good. An ideal lunch stop, never seems to get too crowded
We often went to the bakery for lunch or coffee. The location is great. Eating is good as you can also read in other posts. Our last visit was beautiful again, except the very unfriendly and rude waitress. And she made mistakes on the bill, so we paid too much first. After our complaint, we have our money back. Hopefully, she will soon be in a better mood for other customers.
Quite possibly the finest little eatery you can find in the Skiwelt region. Weather it be a rotisserie chicken or something off the menu (try their chunky Tiroler Gröstl with fried egg) you won't get ripped off and it's outstanding cooking from this table serviced establishment. How do we ever find the places. Skiing from Westendorf to Kirchberg take a small detour from the slopes 120 over the 119a and just around the corner behind some tannins you will find this small jewel. Beautiful view excellent food
Wir haben einen super Urlaub im anliegenden Chalet verbracht , es war klasse, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen im brechhornhaus ist klasse die Wirte sehr nett.
