"Women who was serving us was really rude, ignoring clients, worst customer experience ever. Treating tourists very badly because they don’t speak Spanish, doesn’t do any effort. Serves gin tonic without gin. Is annoyed when asked for gin in gin tonic."

There are several Alsur cafes in Barcelona, ours was in the Gothic Quarter (I think). It's youthful, energetic, but the staff is very friendly and caters to a charming middle-aged couple. Although we didn't attend, the bar looks well stocked!

I had the banana bread pancakes and OMG the cream cheese on top was delish! My husband had pulled the pork rooster twice! You have to go! They also have kombucha!
