We went to the Alt Borkum to try their all you can eat lunch buffet. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. I was impressed that they chose to keep the buffet smaller, and offer all fresh food. The day were were...there they had spare ribs, fresh pasta dishes , fresh breaded fish, as well as many hot side dishes , a large salad bar and two fresh hot desserts. The price was extremely reasonable. They also have a large enclosed play room for parents with young children. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would certainly return.
Not up to standard. For a place specializing in steak and charging euro for a filet, I would expect more. Two steaks ordered medium came out completely uncooked in the middle. Tables in main room are packed tight together. Super fast service but we...left feeling like we were rushed through dinner. Although with the atmosphere there was no reason to stay longer.
cozy ambiente, service is competent and on zack! eating was a dense, first I was shocked at the trips on the map, but at serving and tasting it was quickly clear that there was money here! I've got nix to mug and I'm sure I'll come back!

Known for their air aged beef. After a week of fish we were lusting for some good meat. Good choice. Nice garden with playground for children. Very friendly service.
