Alt Oberurseler Brauhaus

I've visited this place twice this month and tried schweinshaxe (German pork dish) for the first visit and a family platter for the second. I don't really recommend the platter because of its salty sausages and high price in certain time period (If German food is not salty for you, then it'll be totally fine), but highly recommend Schweinshaxe. People who visited Germany for the first time and who wish to try good German dish, or who are willing to have a good Schweinshaxe in Oberursel will love this place. Three meals here in the past few weeks with friends and colleagues. The place is always busy, full of local clientele (always a good sign) and brews fantastic beer, The food and the service cannot be faulted. Wide range of food on offer. If you can find space at a table then grab it and order. I have no question about giving the Brauhaus a top rating.

Very large "pub" type place. Very German, attentive and helpful staff. The pork knuckle is excellent though some in my party found it a bit salty. Menus in English and Japanese. The Jamboree dish was excellent. The feel of this place is great, indoors and out. Wiesebier is the best I tasted in Oberursel.

We have been here several times in the last year and every time we go the food quality has continued to decline .The schnitzel is rubbery, the pork Knuckle lacks taste. If you are only looking to get a beer and pretzel this would be the place to go. Other than that, I would skip the entrees. Réservez une table maintenant

I visited Oberursel on business and my colleagues took us their for a team dinner. The food was excellent and in house brewed beer was wow !! A good place to chill out. Opt for the outside location...

Oberursel is a small town outside Frankfurt and you will most likely end up in this brauhaus if you pass from here. Simple food ( green sauce, spaetzle recommended) and nice beer, service is friendly.

Very cute outside dining, started with beer of course) . Server was friendly and helpful, Had the pork knuckle special....outstanding!! The only drawback was chasing the flys away,they drove me nuts.

A regular haunt, good beer brewed on the premises, the mixed grill is a belly buster and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Haxe is always good here too washed down with some nice Helles beer. Réservez une table maintenant

An ok German dinner, friendly restaurant but a mix up unfortunately meant we received our starters after our main course. Food was average and service could definitely be improved.

I'm not the best guy to evaluate the authentic German food but it was too salty for me. beer was not half bad. atmosphere was awesome.
