Alte Mühle - Réservation de table

We were spontaneously on a Sunday evening (exit weather) at Gasthof Alte Mühle. The inn is comfortable and the service is super friendly and endeavored. The open space in front of the inn makes the pleasure of beer garden weather. On the map there are three vegan dishes (Burger, salad plate with red-bete crispy and noodles with ratatouil laying vegetables). I had the vegan burger who was completely convinced. Too bad that the delicious looking spinach dumplings were not vegan in nut butter.

While there are no tours in the flour mill, nothing beats buying freshly milled flour right at the mill rather than in the store. They have several different types of flour as well as other wheat/flour based products like noodles,cereal, etc.Right around the corner in the same building structure, they have a small building where you can buy fresh fish, smoked trout, fish sandwiches, etc. Definitely a worthwhile stop if you are in the area.

We had been there for lunch and got a herb soup as starter. I had a salad with potatoe chips and chicken (unfortunately it was also fried so I have to say, there's no low calorie meal on their menu...). The others had deer, duck and calf with German potatoe dumplings and vegetables. Also nice, delicious and it was enough to be totally satisfied (men as well as women ;) )So, if you're not on a diet, full recommendation for this "old mill".

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a charming example of excellent local Fränkisch food. I had the Pfefferhaxe, the meat was tender and juicy and the crackling done to perfection! I will be going back again. Great service even though the place was packed, and really fair prices. Can't recommend enough.

We were spontaneously on our holiday trip for dinner at the Alte Mühle. We chose the vegan carving. The portion was good and very tasty. The staff was friendly and the ambience was very cozy. Come back!

Again, in the Bad Staffelstein a Frankonian type restaurant/bar with good solid food, for a very good price/quality. I guess food in Bavaria is generally (a lot) cheaper than in Belgium.

The vegan diet will be discussed here. A good selection of vegan dishes that are perfectly marked in the menu. I'm very happy and I felt very comfortable. Réservez une table maintenant
