the unique kitchen has convinced us that we have enjoyed the absolute pleasure twice. an outstanding 3-course menu (29,80 euro) with a greeting from the kitchen spoiled us in the very elegant and tastefully decorated restaurant. no matter whether fasanenbrust in the speckmantel, trout after müllerin art or medaillons from the bark in tasty crimson crust, or the appetizers ( pumpkin soup with fried calfstrip or smoked carp fillet in meerrettich panna cotta with red beeste foam) as well as the refreshing hottest - all delicious

That's what I like when I am in Germany, a restaurant with impeccable service, excellent food and a wonderful ambiance. We found it all at the Alte Schule, the restaurant of the Arvena Reichsstadt Hotel. Located in an old half-timbered building with massive wooden beams, it was surely 21st century hospitality. Pleasing menu for a foodie combined with an extensive wine selection makes this the premier restaurant in Bad Windsheim.

we were spontaneously looking for a cozy restaurant. the 'old school' invites you to stay with a comfortable ambience. the service is first-class and the kitchen understands the art of cooking! cheap middle-class, definitiw a recommended! we come back.

we are regularly too hospitable. even if the prices are raised, the perfect eating and the class service justify the visit over and over again. Currently recommended: surf and turf with bark fillet and lobster, was really the hammer!

we stayed at arvena hotel and went down to the restaurant (it is located on the first stage of the hotel.) we found a beautiful restaurant, very romantic! we celebrated our jubilee and everything was very rich.
