Today we are extremely disappointed for the first time in years!!! Quality of the food was very poor. The roast pork was not typically Bavarian poor meat quality and the gravy was totally watery. Instead of the fried trout I ordered, I got plaice fillet (service mistake! . In principle, that wouldn 't have been a bad thing, as I like to eat everything fish. Unfortunately the plaice fillets were neither fresh nor properly fried. Not only that the fillets were too well done and soft/mushy. This was definitely frozen food that had lain in the “juice” for too long after defrosting! The fillets were totally watery and mushy and didn 't taste like plaice. Good home-style Bavarian cuisine, the Jägerpfandl was great, but the sauerbraten was unfortunately not sour enough and a bit salty. From the outside it looks very rustic, but inside it is a cozy guest room. Nice service. At the end there was a schnapps on the house.

3 x 5 stars. The taste of the food is really great and there is enough on the plate. Beer price is top at €3.80 for half. Very friendly staff/boss/boss. Quaintly furnished. Highly recommended!

There were three of us there in the evening. I thought the young team and the facility were great! About the food: It was good, even though there was a very high number of visitors.

Good food, but Jesus, we had to wait a long time before we could eat, terribly busy, but I think that's because it is the only restaurant in the area.

Rustic restaurant with a sophisticated ambience befitting an inn from 1595! Good German cuisine and very friendly staff!!!
