I had a wonderful experience at the Altes Bierhof! The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was simply delicious – especially the traditional dishes that were freshly prepared. The service was outstanding; The staff was friendly and attentive, even when the house was full. The prices are very fair for the quality you get. I can only warmly recommend the Alte Bierhof! Thank you for a great evening!”
We stopped in Bautzen on our tour through Germany and had lunch at the Alter Bierhof Inh. we sat on the terrace overlooking parts of the old town with its wall and round tower. We chose this location because of the influence of Saxony on the kitchen... and it was not disappointed. We enjoyed several local dishes and everyone was a joy and excellent prepared.
Don't think twice about going in, just enter. We had a wonderful place with a great view of the Peace Bridge. The food was not only pleasing to the eye but also pleasing to the palate. The restaurant is very interesting and lovingly furnished. A must visit in Bautzen... Thank you for the hospitality PS: we were here again the next evening
I was two years in succession on an adventurous with a friend here and went the second year to tackle the 2-liter beer they had at this place. the eating was delicious and well prepared, the beer was great and the atmosphere is quite random, but cool. in any case a great place for lunch or dinner.
