this little caffe should be one of the best in adelaide. the service and quality coffee from the owner rob is impeccable and the food served by the chef cook brad is the best class. the prices are incredibly low great worth for money. I can absolutely recommend the eggs flourentine served with delicious hollandaise sauce as nothing I ever tasted. the young are very obligated and make what they want if it is not exactly what is on the menu. once they were in old ego, they are getting back and get exactly the same great service and brilliant food.
What a fabulous cafe, loved the coffee, loved the food. And the service was exceptional. There's many cafes around But I can't fault this one..... It's brilliant on so many levels. The owner is such an amazing front man...... 10 out of 10.....not only does he remember your name, he goes out of his way to make your dining experience one to remember. Visited Alter Ego & Co the week it opened, what a surprise, a hidden gem in the side streets. Rob, The Owner told us anything on the menu was able to be tweaked to suit our tastes, the Russian Egg Salad, Flans and desserts are absolutely worth a try. Coffee and Tea was delicious which is always a plus. Friendly staff with a smile makes it a pleasurable place to spend a little time trying what is on the menu and in the dessert cabinet, made fresh...........do yourself a favour!
Literally stumbled upon this place while walking Goodwood Road, looking for a restaurant to satisfy the dietary needs of a vegan, a Celiac, and 2 Asians who would rather not eat the foods from their homeland when going out for supper. So glad we spotted this place, as the owner and the chef catered entirely to our diverse palettes. The prices were reasonable, and the dinners we chose were delicious, including the special gluten-free calamari dish. Thanks, guys! Réservez une table maintenant
This small cafe is amazing. Food exceptional, coffee is great and display cabinet at front is full of delicious treats for afternoon teas or deserts. Rob the owner friendly and so accomodating as is brad the chef both end over backwards to make your experience amazing greAt place across road form the cinema a hidden gem love it here
Went here for lunch during the working week and ordered a seafood risotto. I am quite picky with risotto and couldn't believe how perfectly cooked the meal was. loads of seafood, beautiful sauce and the rice cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and the prices reasonable. Would most certainly go again!
