In 1823 the main house was built on today's federal road 51. At all times of the existence of this old pretensioning economy, it is owned by the Meyer family. A large car park is located next to the restaurant. In 1999 and 2000 we arrived there the last time, at Corona time it was not possible for us, but at last we arrived and stretched out on a Sunday with friends. Our positive memories of the ambience and the quality of the food have been refreshed successfully, but one must also mention the very good service that was granted to us there for three hours. Le menu et le réglage rappelent des restaurants car ils avaient une trentaine d'années. La cuisine allemande s'est développée, mais les Altes Rasthaus n'ont pas. La nourriture était correcte, bien que plutôt "lourd", le choix des plats a montré peu d'initiative, en particulier les options végétariennes. Le service ... était très bon et tous les membres du personnel que nous avons parlé étaient sympathiques. J'ai peur que nous ne reviendrons pas

Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant à plusieurs reprises et avons toujours trouvé cela toujours bon. Il y a un beau jardin pour les boissons avant le dîner pendant une belle journée. Personnel aimable et serviable surtout si vous ne parlez pas allemand. Nous recommandons ce ... Restaurant

We have been to this restaurant a number of times and have always found it consistently good. There is a beautiful garden for pre dinner drinks on a fine day. Kind and helpful staff especially if you do not speak German. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
