The almost 250 km long trip was really worth it. We visited a horse farm in the area and settled in the beer garden of Old City Gate on a recommendation for lunch. For the big sunny weather nobody could. But thanks for the excellent regional cuisine at very moderate prices and the absolutely perfect service goes quite clearly into the kitchen and the service of the Landgasthof. There are even fun to give some more tips...
... also we were positively surprised by the stylish and lovingly furnished house. Cosiness and attention to detail have been very much appreciated. AND the good kitchen with delicious food has made our stay in Kastellaun perfect ... mhhhh and the self-made splinter ice at the end... . We recommend the hotel :
We spent the last week after our wedding and enjoyed the package of heart thing and a few extra days. It was super beautiful all around! The rooms are something special and very cozy, the whole house has really character and the food is anyway the best. Very, very, very good!
