Italiener in der Gernsbacher Altstadt. Sehr schön gelegen. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet aber immer sehr voll. Reservierung Pflicht! Auch wenn es sich um ein italienisches Restaurant handelt wird hier keine Pizza serviert. Dies sollte man vor einem Besuch beim Italiener wissen.Die Karte ist klein und die Gerichte klingen alle toll. Wenn dann der Chef noch an den Tisch kommt und die Gerichte als die "weltbesten" anpreist, erwartet man Großes. Der Auftritt ist wirklich sehr selbstbewusst.Ich habe mich für das "weltbeste" Carpaccio entschieden. Es war nicht schlecht. Die Qualität vom Fleisch hat gestimmt. Der Geschmack war hingegen maximal durchschnittlich. Deutlich zu sauer angemac...
You have to go there to experience the service, chat and the food not forgetting all the great wines from Italy. Have been quite a few times, the menu is always exciting, the owner (Orazio) is the catalyst, the speed which he goes around to every guest, checking, asking etc, service is fanfic, the food, let him tell you, you will not regret it, follow it by a beautiful Grappa. It was a complete restaurant but has changed to a really up-market wine bar, do yourself a favour, whilst in there look at the wines!!
we are here for dinner with our two children in the ages of 11 and 13. the children wanted pizza, but unfortunately. no pizza here, but a large selection of home specialities that contain meat, fish, pasta dishes and vegetarian options. the children, both of them. carbonara pasta and my man and I both had a pasta dish with wild mushrooms. it was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. if they are in love, they put this place on their lists and they will not be disappointed.

delicious, perfectly cooked Italian cuisine. the employees are about their menu, super efficient friendly. at the conclusion of our meal we offered to take our drinks to the bar so that a bigger party could have our table. the owner was very friendly and offers...we free drinks coffee. it was nice to sit on the bar, watch people! great atmosphere, worth a visit.
Der Chef ist sehr nett, kommt an den Tisch, schlägt vor, berät, ist bemüht und lobt die eigenen Speisen. So weit, so gut. Was dann aber kommt, ist normale ital. Kost: Nudeln mit Lachs, ein Stück Fisch... Das hätte man auch gekonnt und andere Italiener auch. Trotzdem in Ordnung.
