1) Nice hotel, with sometimes very mixed food: a) The breakfast buffet is very extensive and excellent. b) Lunch in the “Gugelhupf” café fluctuates between ok and inedible. For example, a tomato soup or the sauce from Spaghetti Napoli tastes like curry ketchup. I have no idea which chef does something like that, but outside of a currywurst stand it 's a no-go. c) Dinner in the Panorama restaurant is good, but unfortunately only a menu and no buffet. Dinner in the “Am Kachelofen” restaurant is a buffet, but with a rather mediocre selection. Fantastic family friendly hotel. Incredible views, great facilities if you get a quiet week can book your treatments well before you turn up , excellent wine, good food albeit strong leaning towards lots of red meat the vegetarian food was nice, but could be more flavourful. We all felt looked after and the staff were so kind about kids making noise, which helped us relax from the moment we arrived. The dining room chairs were too heavy; we managed to smash a plate and a glass trying to manipulate them; there were parts of the decors that might benefit from modernisation, but it was so clean and well maintained that you couldn’t complain. My stay in this hotel was pleasant. The staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet and the 6-course menu in the evening in the panoramic restaurant were good and nicely presented. The rooms were clean, with a minibar and fresh water every day. The surrounding area offers Lots of hiking options. In the evenings there was a cozy atmosphere in the bar with live music. However, the price was relatively high, especially at over 700 euros per day for half board (water not included in the price). for 3 deal compensated for this somewhat. The cosmetic and wellness services were expensive even by Swiss standards. A mask for just under 40 euros for 15 minutes seemed excessive to me. The scope for the ch...
Simply great. We spontaneously booked a break with our 2 dogs. And despite the short notice, the team took care of all our wishes and made it possible, from dog sitting to breakfast and dinner with the dogs in the separate wine cabinet, everything was excellent and for us one of the best breaks with our dogs. Beautiful wellness area. Delicious food, clean room and even the dogs received everything from paw cleaning cloths, bowls to treats, everything was already in the room. Spent a wonderful weekend for two. A big thank you to the always very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very comfortable. Wellness areas very clean. Applications (massages) very good and helpful. The food was just great. The breakfast buffet was also very rich and everything was always refilled very quickly. The room was large, bright and clean with a balcony. It was very quiet at night.
