The evening in the fireplace was great. The atmosphere is surprisingly cozy for a restaurant in a tennis club. That's really good. The service was very attentive and friendly and also very humorous from the beginning to the end. The food selection is large but not too large. The parts are huge. It was a good choice not to have taken any appetizers. I had the Cordon ball and that was really great. Super juicy meat, neat ham, big crusty panade and cheese torn. You can only increase this with mountain cheese, but also the Emmental (believe) was very delicious. Fully successful evening. And since all these are really fair prices, I am happy to come back.
The restaurant was completely booked all tables partially occupied with many people for the Christmas celebration. The staff consisted of boss and boss who were clearly overwhelmed. We were there about 3 hours and are almost thirsty. The first beverage order was recorded and never asked again! The food was okay. The mayonnaise to the Pommes was unfortunately no longer brought and unfortunately no more chance to order drinks. So we had to do without dessert and coffee. Too bad it could have been a lot more turnover. And you don't feel comfortable having thirst and drinking nothing. There is a need for more staff.

Das Restaurant "Am Kamin" befindet sich im Clubhaus des TSC Baumberg, ist aber für alle Besucher offen. Es gibt sehr leckere, bodenständige Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Wir hatten gegrillte Dorade (Tageskarte), Calamaris und Steak. Alles war sehr lecker, die Portionen völlig ausreichend groß. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir haben (auf der Terasse - direkt neben den Tennisplätzen) gut gesessen. Parkplätze sind auf dem Gelände vorhanden.Auch wenn das Restaurant sicher eher unscheinbar ist - ich finde es gehört zu den guten Alternativen in Monheim. Wir werden auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen.
We ordered a table for the second time (first time on Mother's Day) and the restaurant was rugged and our pre-ordered table was otherwise forgiven. Now we had already ordered a table for 15 people for a birthday party in mid-May. Now get a phone call, don't go because a big wedding party is coming. Don't go! They are totally unorganized and unstructured. No plan! This place looks NIE again!!! Also friends and family therefore no longer!!!
Since we have known the host people for a long time, we are happy to come back here again and again. The pulp was very good, but oversized, so that it tasted tasty on the following day. But the other dishes also catch great charm. But above all, child-friendliness must be mentioned. It is particularly worth mentioning for toddlers. We are always happy to be here.
Hard to find and identify as a restaurant as part of a tennis court, but... Selection plentiful (who finds nothing here should stay at the McDonald’s of his choice), good preparation, fair prices and nice ambience. We enjoyed the evening very much (atten Gänsebrust) and will surely follow a repetition visit.

Eating was just great. ...I asked when ordering if you could replace the saturation supplement against vegetables ....What was probably ok....As it went to pay, I had to notice that this was extra charged to me....This should have been told by the waiter. ...I think I'm going to eat there again
Eating, the service the nice way of handling as always super. Whether fish or wild and now goose always made everything very delicious and appealing. We always like to come.
