Amarena Café - Réservation de table

Went to a beautiful craft market this morning and stopped here for coffee. First of all we got shortchanged by €10 (paid with a €20 and the coffee was only €7 odds) she went on to serve someone else while i still stood there for the rest of the change, when i pointed this out the lady behind the counter actually handed me a FAKE €10 note. I think this is because we were tourists but we are from Ireland so Euro’s is no stranger to us. Short-changing AND handing me a fake note was blatent, purposely done and i said no that’s not real, you could tell by the colour of it before i even felt the paper, it was a dead give away. This cafe is mainly frequented by the Spanish and the prices are very cheap, not tourist prices. It's in a fab people watching spot in the Campanario Centre and can get very busy. We called a couple of times on our recent holiday for a coffee/tea. They do breakfast tea which comes in a little teapot, ask for some cold milk. They also do really nice fresh pastries. The bill for 2 drinks and 2 croissants (almond and choc) was only €6.60. Service was pleasant and friendly too. What's not to like?

We were attended to as we sat down by a friendly waitress. Due to the heat we ordered a Frappe and she recommended an Almond Croissant. Oh my, what a find. The coffee was delicious and topped with whipped cream amd the Croissant, has to be the tastiest I've ever had. Worth the walk!!

caracoles croissant (grandes y pequeños) muy goteo, café expreso, cortado y muy buen cappuccino. deliciosos y variados aperitivos. helado regular. En cualquier caso, una buena cafetería donde los niños sonríen siempre. perfecto para el desayuno o para un aperitivo. Réservez une table maintenant

Gran sitio para desayunar. Buenos croissants, los crepes no son los mejores que hemos probado pero por su precio, están bien. Café muy rico. Ubicado en zona comercial, vale la pena visitar el mercadillo artesano de la zona.

perfecto para el desayuno! El café y el tostado, tanto el mermelada como el tomate con aceite fueron Goodisimas. El camarero nos mantuvo espectacularmente bien. Volveremos a probar un helado artesanal.

We have come for breakfast here twice and we have enchanted the coffee with milk and the great variety of croissants, all very rich. terracita very nice.

local para desayunos muy recomendados, aperitivos muy frescos, sándwich, pasteles. muy buena atención y con toda una sonrisa. la mejor zona. Réservez une table maintenant

Muy buen producto ,lugar tranquilo y con muy buen ambiente . Recomiendo la chapata majorera...bueniisima
