Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I believe that if your door says you're open until 9 PM, you should serve customers until that time, including the kitchen. I even saw another person approach the door hoping to place an order, and he was also turned away. You can spot him in the photo I took of the restaurant's entrance. The food here is quite good, which is why I returned on Saturday. However, it's evident they need to update the closing time on their door and website to accurately reflect when the kitchen closes, as it would prevent frustrated customers. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. They refused to let me substitute fried rice for white rice, even though I offered to pay extra. They insisted that I had to order both types of rice, which was frustrating. As for the meal itself, it was truly awful. I expected to taste basil, which is typically included in Penang curry recipes, but there was none to be found. In fact, the dish lacked flavor entirely. The chicken was tough and chewy, and after one bite, I couldn't eat anymore of it. The tofu and vegetable pad Thai mainly tasted like baby corn, and the tofu was incredibly soft, coated in an unusual breading that didn't appeal to me. Unfortunately, the tofu lacked flavor. The Chicken Panang curry was decent. We requested mild spice for both dishes, which at most Thai restaurants still pack some flavor without being too spicy. Here, however, it seemed to translate to mild flavor, as both dishes were rather bland. The fried spring rolls were oddly oversized, filled with solid pork and covered in a peculiar tempura batter. They were about twice the diameter of a typical fried spring roll. Overall, it wasn't the worst Thai food I've had, but it certainly wasn't great either....

If you're looking for the worst Thai food in Tampa Bay, look no further than Amerit Thai Grill. The Pad Thai had an awful smell that reminded me of a dog, and as soon as I opened it, I started sneezing. The spring rolls were not what I expected at all. To top it off, the evening manager was quite rude. I definitely do not recommend this place. On the bright side, DoorDash refunded the entire meal. Réservez une table maintenant

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, and the staff is very welcoming. My favorite person is 'Mom' who is out front. You should definitely try the Chicken Pad Thai—it's delicious!
