Called ahead for a sub today but when I went to pick up, I was told I could take one out of the display case since he just made 3 of them. I was so confused but when I tried to ask why I couldn't get it at the counter like all of the times before, he didn't seem to understand my point and was quite rude. I equate it to calling a pizza place for an order and when you go to pick it up, you're told to rummage through all the pizzas they've already made for today to find yours.
I love Amato's! When they're at their best, it's truly amazing. They offer a fantastic breakfast for a gas station—fresh breakfast burritos and sandwiches! The burrito is my favorite, packed with eggs, cheese, meat, onions, peppers, and more. Their lunch and dinner options are excellent as well. I especially enjoy the sandwiches and baked pasta dishes. The pizza is decent, though not my top choice. I'll definitely be back soon!
Upon entering the establishment i was greeted with a rather unpleasant odor. A mixture of marijuana and sweat. I placed my odor at the front as normal but the women taking the odor smelled of this raunchy alcohol and as stated marijuana. She seemed to of been upset as her patience where bare minimum with me upon placing my order. Staff looks like a hot topic store. Sandwich was stale wont return
We normally get our subs from Jersey Mikes (expensive but delicious) BUTTT—we have found a new sub place! Way less expensive. Chicken salad is out of this world definitely trying the tuna next time!Parking: Plenty Réservez une table maintenant
Delicious meatball subs and authentic Maine-style Italian sandwiches! Having grown up in Maine, I couldn’t believe I found this sandwich while driving by last week. Pure heaven!
Not only was the food amazing but so was the service. The gentlemen who was working went above and beyond. He was so friendly and very helpful.
Amato's offers both large and small sub rolls. Just what I needed for my weekly sandwiches without having to visit a big-box store. Perfect!
Original Italian not the same. The rolls are different. Not the same as Maine.? Réservez une table maintenant
