ambrosia is supposed to be the food of the gods. these gods are clearly among the fallen gods. I've never been to a restaurant where so many things are not allowed. first, we couldn't have a whole bottle of house wine, "because we don't do this, only in the glass." We were offered the wine card when we wanted a bottle and then we became clear why. the cheapest bottle wein was over 30 €. I asked for a carafe water and got a bottle of mineral water. I repeated my request for normal water of conduct, which caused an unbelieving reaction and a smooth rejection. when our food came, the order (two dishes) was wrong, but we accepted it, because we didn't want to wait any longer, only to wait for the waitress come over gericked with we had actually ordered. she seemed to find all this very amusing. the food itself was disgusting. my lasagne had hardly any filling, was tasteless and the nude leaves were melted into a sticky mass. the tortellini sauce of my partner tasted artificially, salted and the noodles had the consistency of plastic. we wouldn't have fed it to our dogs.

I have been past a Monday evening in ambrosia, as on Monday only a few places were opened in the city. I was warmly welcomed and they spoke English and had an English menu (as well as a German menu.) the menu is very varied, from starters to steaks, pasta and pizza. they have a fully equipped bar with weeping, beer and spiritual. eating was acceptable and was served hot. the pasta and pizza was in order, but with a wide selection of food on the menu they were not exceptional. this is a good restaurant if you want a lot of food to satisfy a group of people. getting the leak was a bit slow, but in general my service was in order. I would recommend ambrosia.

we were warmly welcomed in this restaurant in the old town, with an English-speaking waitress that led us through the menu that specializes in Mediterranean dishes. we decided to lammfilet and pork medallions – both with pfifferlings of the season and excellently prepared and presented – and finished the whole with a tartuffo to dessert. all this was flushed down with a fruity, dry rose from south-west of France. when he discovered that we are Scottish, the owner proudly told us that in his kitchen he only uses Scottish or Welsh lamb – a good policy, as this is lamming on the side!

stumbled over this attractive looking building and went inside. big mistake. waiting for our food forever, then they misunderstood mine. waited another 15 - 20 minutes until they had done it right. So we ate separate meal times and at the end our murrischer gastgeber declined any compensation. to avoid any price. make sandwiches! do not say they have not been warned.
