American Flat Bread

Disclaimer: we went on a Saturday night (about 5:30 was when we put our name in) so it may be a lot better on non-weekends. Also, this was from a visit in October (late review). This place was frenzied and completely disorganized. At first, they told us the wait for 3 of us was 30 minutes, but we should check back in 15 minutes, which we did and they told us the wait hadn't changed. Then when we came back after our original estimate, the place was completely mobbed with waiting people and we waited quite a while longer in the crowd, awkwardly moving around to let wait staff through. I have driven across the country from the West coast to the East coast by car twice now, passing through 12+ states, and this pizza place is still my favorite of all the states I have visited. I wish they would open locations everywhere! The "new Vermont sausage" and "cheese and herbs" pizzas are absolutely delicious, not to mention their impressive beer selection. This place is definitely a must-visit when in Burlington, VT!

The location is very laid back and has a warm atmosphere. The Pizza and salads are really good but if you are vegan you have to order a special pizza. Unlike some of the other Am Flatbread locations they do not have a vegan pizza on the menu. They brew their own beer and its very good. Expect a 45 minute wait on Friday and Saturday nights. We went to this restaurant for dinner. We enjoy supporting local businesses. We ordered a large half cheese and herb, salsa tomato flatbread and a special salad with butternut soup. The restaurant had a patio in front and a sidewalk. The food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the Stowe cider beer. Réservez une table maintenant

the vegan cheese here is very good (follow your heart brand,) and I enjoyed the great selection of toppings available and delicious pizza crust. be warned, it is very popular and they must wait long when they come on Friday or Saturday night.

The pizza was delicious but the best part? The fire. WOW. We had just finished watching UAlbany lose to Vermont in the America East tournament and it was like -20 that day with windchill (this is back in 2017). That fire was DELIGHTFUL.

Crowded but a perennial favorite. Food is great, beer selection is always superb. This is like the best of Vermont in one place. Very kid friendly and always worth the wait to get in.
