It's slightly outdated Carpets need replacing . There is one ice machine on the first floor and a smaller one in the laundry room for guests.. ?? It would be nicer if they had coffee pots in the rooms and a larger microwave and an ice machine on the 2nd floor. Housekeeping just enters your room if you don't answer the door after 2 knocks. I don't think they should especially if they know you are a stayover. Beds are clean..no bugs . Air works well in rooms . Hallways are warm though. No good place to sit outside.. Especially if your a smoker.Rooms: Clean and roomyWalkability: It's close to the water park , QT, and a few other eating establishments.
The whole place reeked of cigarettes and wet carpet. The floors in the room were disgusting and turned our feet black; the bathroom floor was also very sticky. There were cigarette burns on the sheets and concerning stains. The water in the bathtub was slow draining and when we shared our concerns with the front desk they were very unalarmed and said there was nothing they could do about it now but someone would come fix it first thing in the morning and they never did. It is a cheap hotel to stay at but take your money elsewhere. The location was alright if you forget about the sketchy people around but there was a lot of food options nearby
Worst “hotel” experience. It’s technically a motel and an extended stay. If any of it is supposed to be a smoke free, it isn’t. The smell of smoke and filth is overpowering. The carpets are stained and filthy, and the towels are stained and dirty. Right off the freeway so it’s loud and the residents are always lurking and creepy. It should be condemned and the health department should close it down. The pool doesn’t have a spa and requires a wrist band to use. Nothing good to say about the place or the neighborhood and I’m disappointed that anyone else did which led me to a gross choice for a weekend.
Please for the safety of yourself do not go here. Rooms smelled severely of MJ. My friend stayed here and stayed during their stay a person was arrested at the pool for an armed robbery, hotel is disgusting floors are super stained and gross and bathroom is horrible. A lot of crime here it isn’t safe to be in this part of town at night. Will not stay here. Sketchy people all around even having concealed weapons visibly noticeable. Very high crime area and good area to get shot at.Safety: Not safe. Do not stay here they have no inside locks either like deadbolts or chains.
No issues with the service, everyone's very nice. The WiFi is unusable, can't stay connected for more than a couple minutes I cannot get my work done here. The carpet is so dirty it turns your feet black if you walk on it for more than a couple minutes. The hallway reeks of cigarette smoke, I was amazed my room didn't smell like it. I was also amazed I didn't find bed bugs, given everything else I've seen so far. I don't even want to sleep here, but it's too late to shift plans. Will not be returning, this is not worth the small price.
If you don’t smoke pot, this may not be the place for you. Walking in to check in, the place smelled terribly of pot. While everyone was nice, I’m sensitive to it, and it was everywhere. The room was adequate, fridge was not cold, there were stains on bed covers(not on the sheets) carpets were a crime scene. The toilet clogged up, and the resolution was easy. Come down to the front desk and get the plunger, unclog it yourself, and bring it back! But, hey, it was a $60 hotel room in Kansas City.Rooms: In need of repair
I booked with these people and cancelled promised to refund me completely and still haven’t refunded me. They promised to refund me in 10 business days and we are going on 14 business days. Every day that I have called since they keep saying the person who processes the refunds are out. TheirCustomer service skills leaves me to believe that they aren’t paying their staff enough. I paid got three days and never stayed there. I want my money back.
I'll say this, you get what you pay for. The floors were dirty, the sheets hadn't been changed, and even though they advertised smoke free, it wasn't.The worst part was that despite my research into the area and how safe it was, it wasn't. I can't tell you how many times we saw someone hauled away for an overdose, or how many times my husband was asked for drugs or drug money.Beware.Safety: See review comment.
You get what you pay for . We stayed here for exactly 10 minutes after checking in, and decided to just leave and book another hotel. Main problems: Cigarette smoke, cigarette burns on the bed covers, and some of the clientele seemed a bit down on their luck, to put it mildly. The staff was very nice.Rooms: 1/5
