The meat was tasty but some of the steak had chewy fat. For the price point versus the amount of quality meat it missed the value however the meat itself was fairly good. They offered a fantastic deal for two dinners: two 8-ounce Picanha steaks, two servings of steak fries, two orders of blood sausage, and a bottle of wine for $59.99, which the owner suggested. The Picanha steak was well-cooked to my request for medium rare, and the fries were delicious. While the blood sausages might have been good, I personally don't have a taste for them, so I didn’t eat much. The wine was decent, making for a nice pairing overall. The way prices are going I thought this place was a great deal for the amount and quality of the food. Also, it was cooked perfect and taste was amazing. I would definitely recommend and go back. The place is tiny but service was great, staff is super nice and friendly. They are very accommodating and sure it’s not instant service but we aren’t trying to rush through our meals so all good. The food was so good I didn’t even take pics because we scarfed it down. I also love that they sliced the meat for us which meant we could eat it that much faster. Win!!
I absolutely love this place! I've visited several times, and I've never been disappointed. They often offer a special for two, which includes a bottle of wine along with steak, sausage, and a side dish. The meat is consistently cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding, and on one occasion, we even received a complimentary "date night" dessert plate, which was a lovely touch! A small family owned steakhouse with Latin flare. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and very well prepared. Everything tasted very fresh. Maria is very knowledgeable on the menu items and how items are prepared. She made suggestions for us based on our taste preferences and she was spot on. We wouldn't hesitate to return the next time in the area. A must visit.
What a gem! I just wanted good steak and found this place.... DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 10/10. Delicious. Want a steak without the fancy steakhouse play or price, this is the place. Food was amazing, service was great and it's in a cute spot in the gables. Highly recommend. They also have daily specials. We got 2 steaks, 2 sausages, fries and a bottle of wine for only $64.... We stayed at a hotel nearby and walked to this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was modern and cozy. We tried the arepas (which I highly recommend) and two steaks, both cooked to perfection—juicy and tender. We would definitely come back and strongly suggest visiting this place if you're in Coral Gables. Food: 5/5
The Chef and Wait staff offered a tremendous experience. Note due to them usually fresh cuts of meat daily some cuts might not be available. The steak was cooked to a perfect Medium finish.
