I work in the area and regularly visit this establishment. The service is warm, welcoming, and very much personalised. The premises are ALWAYS spotless. They run an incredibly tight ship and never take their eyes of the ball when it comes to processing orders and getting food out efficiently. It started off as a breakfast spot for me but I now regularly pick up lunch there in place of visiting the usual chains. Last but not least the food is fantastic. Amazing range, fresh , homemade, tasty, great value. It never looks like they have put out sandwich fillings or leftovers from the day before. As a group of work colleagues we eat here regularly, and its our go to place for good food at a good price. Its the best cafe by far in the area. Huge breakfasts and not a spot of grease in sight. Chicken escalope bap and the huge jackets are to die for. Immaculately clean and the friendliest service. Advisable to book if you want a table in the restaurant downstairs as it does get busy.

Recently moved to the area for work and I love this place. The owners/staff work incredibly hard and really care to achieve and maintain high standards both in food and service.. I found they're closed for ten days over the summer; it almost feels like a bereavement. The good things people have written all true.

Lovely cafe for breakfast or lunch. Repeatedly had various pasta options and it was quick and delicious. However what you really have to try is the Salt beef in Rye with Mustard and gherkins. If I choose to treat myself at lunch time, that's what I'll go for any day! Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent choice for a lunch that's a cut above all the usual places. Loads to choose from, both hot and cold, and all look really tasty. Friendly and helpful service too. Will definitely return to try some of the other dishes.

Best salt beef sandwich I’ve ever had- been raving about it for days. Really juicy, just fabulous. Friendly staff too, will definitely return on my next lunch break
