I ordered the 'A' set plate of sushi, which was essentially a deluxe nigiri platter served with miso soup. The fish was fresh and tasty, the rice was well-cooked, and the various toppings like tamago, prawn, scallop, flying fish roe, and salmon roe were all flavorful. Self-serve water and tea (both hot and iced) are available, along with dining utensils. Payment is made at the counter after finishing your meal. Although the hostess was friendly and helpful, the service mainly involved guidance on where to find things and what to do. The restaurant's interior was decent, but dining in the dimly-lit, low-ceilinged alleyway was not particularly enjoyable. My only issue was that the miso soup...

This restaurant was tucked away and when we arrived we were a little taken back at how old school it looked. However looks can be deceiving and the actual food was delicious. We ordered a large chefs selection sashimi, set A sushi platter, chicken curry with rice and chicken katsu Don. These dishes came with miso soup, cucumbers/pickles and a salad. We also ordered three cans of aloe vera. The whole price of the meal and drinks was $85 which is incredibly cheap for what you get. The food was all nice !! Luckily we booked in advance as the place is quite crowded <br/ <br/ The Japanese curry was a little salty . The other food was good ! <br/ <br/ Great food . The location of the restaurant seems to be there for quite a while . It looks like it’s been here for quite some time as the shops is quite small . But I love the ambience of it . <br/ <br/ It’s a hidden part in the Center of the surfers paradise

This place never disappoints! My mandatory lunch stop every time I’m down in Gold Coast! My favourite is the Uni Ikura Don. Brought many overseas friends here before and they always leave with a happy tummy and with a wow factor! :

Authentic and yummy Japanese food, simple but good quality food, the venue is hidden in a small shopping strip and was very hot without aircon, with limited spaces, we decided to order takeaway but still very good.

It takes quite long to be seated. And it also take ages to get foods ready. But the longer they make the better the food will be. The food was absolutely beautiful and tasty! Worth it? It is worthy!

Very delicious！Recommend Chirashi Sashimi set. Many kinds of sashimi and all foods are fresh. The restaurant is located in a lane but it deserves finding it.
