So my family and myself arrived in town on tuesday and drove by and seen amore we asked the locals who most had good reviews ..we decided we would have pasta our last night in town before leaving my daughter here for college. So I call to see if I need reservations at about 745 on Friday the Person who answered said that because of covid they closed the dining room at 8 but that I could still get my order in for pickup. We where a lite bummed but decided we wanted pasta and would eat at hotel..I placed an order for 3 kids meals 2 adult meals and 2 appetizers I was told it would be 45 minutes my wife went to pick up food and owner came out and told her sorry it was closed and that his waiter...
The salad and pizza here were quite good. I ordered the house salad but noticed that some toppings were missing, so I asked the server to bring the rest of them listed on the menu. My husband and I shared the margherita pizza, which was excellent and topped with a balsamic reduction. I also ordered a side of linguine aglio, which was just okay. Overall, everything was enjoyable, but the service was a bit slow and laid-back. If you're not in a hurry and want to savor a nice dinner, this is a great affordable spot to consider.
There was a new chef when we went on 8 March 2020. The steaks my wife and her friend had were cold, flavorless, and had to be sent back. I was impressed that they made 2 new steaks rather than microwave the old ones The soups were also cold and had to be sent back. Once everything was sorted out, the food was good. The seafood soup that I had was wonderful. To their credit, our desserts were comped. I think once the new chef gets some experience, it will be just wonderful. The wait staff were amazing.
The cuisine lacks authenticity. The meatballs were clearly frozen and pre-made, and the marinara sauce was quite ordinary. It felt like a blend of fresh and packaged ingredients. I might return to try their pizza or a dish with white sauce, but I’m not sure if I’ll come back after that. It’s disappointing because I was really hoping to find a new Italian restaurant. On a positive note, the waitstaff was excellent at the end of July 2018. However, I would advise against ordering the Artichoke Dip. Réservez une table maintenant
This is the best Italian restaurant outside of Seattle, and it might even surpass those in the city. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. My date exclaimed that it was the best seafood fettuccine he had ever tasted. The service was prompt, and I can confidently say that it had the best tomato basil soup I've ever tried. The prices are reasonable and competitive. We will definitely be returning!
1st. The waiter was outstanding. He handled our table of 7+ with ease. Being the only one waiting plus a cook. 2nd. Food was excellent, brought out to us very quickly. 3rd. Waiter was able to interact with others folks dining. 4th he always wore a mask. Presented us straws for our drinks without touching. I would recommend Amire' Italian restaurant to friends family and the president too..
I had heard that the owner had gone to Italy to improve the menu, but as far as I can tell they only made it as far as New York. Having lived on the east coast and in Italy, the fare is definitely leaning more toward American Italian. The decor is nice. Bread was good. Clams were small, tasted like the were once frozen, and almost 1/4 of them were still closed. Also no acqua frizzante.
