Our dinner experience here was downright disappointing from start to finish. Here are some notable points: The wait staff and manager were often inattentive or even rude, despite the fact that we were one of only two occupied tables on a Saturday evening. The food was quite underwhelming overall. The highlight was the prosciutto and burrata salad, which was genuinely delicious. However, the meatball appetizer arrived barely warm, and the cavatelli pasta tasted like something out of the frozen food section. Hmmm, I see I posted a review of Amorina 10years ago so it's probably time for an update. Bottom line: It's still five star worthy. When you consider how restaurants come and go in NYC and the Covid related restaurant casualty list, there's a reason why Amorina is still around. That's because it's still so consistently good. It has a neighborhood feel, because it's truly a neighborhood restaurant. The menu doesn't have a hundred items on it because the focus is on making the items that are on it plus always a few specials really good. This is a fantastic neighborhood spot! They had been closed for the winter, so I’m thrilled they have reopened. Everything feels just as great as before, with the same high-quality ingredients and excellent service in a cozy atmosphere. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and on nights when Vanderbilt Ave is closed to traffic, there’s even more space available. It's definitely worth your time and money!
We came here for a pizza snack and ended up with two pies, which are good sized pizzas. The white vegetarian slice with zucchini was GREAT! Our whole table loved it and it was the star of the show. The margherita pizza was a bit over done and complaints were that it was too crispy, almost burnt. Probably a mistake, would definitely come back and try other pies. Ciao!

Had an phenomenal time at Amorina. Great ambiance and had a great laugh with the amazing server with the beautiful curls. His name was Jarsja if I remember correctly. I am definitely coming back after my gap year in Greece. What a lovely Brooklyn hotspot. 5 well deserved stars.
This local pizza joint is a chill spot that grab a slice and they are even open for lunch on the weekends now. They might be known for their pizza but their baked eggs is delicious. Happy that we gambled on that dish. Staff is nice and accommodating to special circumstances.
This restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The Italian-style dishes are fantastic, and the cavatelli we tried were delicious! We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
Albano Ballerini truly knows how to impress. His attentiveness and attention to detail are evident in the dishes he prepares. He elevates pizza to a whole new level.
