I read the reviews on Google before coming here, and just last week I came here with my family.We ordered a halibut meal for four and it was more than enough food for us. The staff was helpful and friendly when it came to recommending what's good from the menu. My kids loved it, and they usually don't even eat fish!I am really glad the 4 stars and the 5 star reviews are accurate! I feel like the 1 star reviewers don't know what they are talking about. I arrived around 7:30pm. Close to closing time. Showed my Vax pass. Placed my order and picked a table. Cashier was bored. Laying with his chest and chin on the counter. No hello, no pleasantries, no interest. Just place your order, pay up, and pick a table. The restaurant is also very tired. Like the owners don't care. Now the good news. Nicest pieces of Halibut I've had in a while. Crisp, clean batter. Firm fish. Coleslaw was excellent. Now some bad news. The fries were well below par. Under-cooked, and tasteless. I always get their Seafood Platter because I'm one greedy hippo. I want everything I need my fish. Shrimp. Scallop fries onion rings and salad it's pretty much the village : Their halibut is a decent size portion here !! I hate stingy restaurants Note their tartare sauce is the classic packaged one not house made if you are into that. Overall fresh quality decent portions owned by a very warm owner. Will definitely come back !

I had excellent fish and chips here. I can't find them this good outside of England. I'm a Brit born and raised, but I now live in the USA. I enjoy good food every day, but I really miss a quality dish like this. During a trip to Canada, I came across this place, got takeout, and returned the very next day for more. It was so good I could have imagined I was sitting on the beach in Dunwich! Réservez une table maintenant

Such awesome staff! They helped us celebrate a birthday today, staff was WAY more accommodating than they even needed to be, even helped find us a candle!The Fish and Chips are top notch, quality and portions are great. 10/10 Experience, would recommend this spot to anyone. Crispy and delightful fish and chips. Definitely worth the price, even better with the specials. The fries were also satisfying to eat. Was still crispy after getting takeout. The batter used was crunchy and kind of interesting. The service was fast and it was prepared quickly. Would recommend trying it out.

I had the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. I ordered the squid and chips, which were neither greasy nor oily. The prices were very affordable, and the service from the owner was excellent. Highly recommend!
