in restaurant "on the 12 ears" there are good German kitchen with seasonal specialties and action weeks. we had a chicken soup as an appetizer, red cabbage with wild as well as sülze as a main dish and imperial as a dessert. all the dishes were really very good. the more impressive was how quickly the dishes come from the kitchen, although there is only one person cooking, namely the chef himself. German classics at least as good "as with nuts" - muscheln, steak, salat, gänsekeule, wild dishes are my favorites. well maintained beverages and always a special beer. necessarily the imperial fool to the dessert to two (or only as the main meal).Bitter booking, as well as fully booked, small dining room (which has come difficult into the years - just ignore.)

with friends we come from time to time to leichlingen. in restaurant "on the 12 ears" we always like to eat. very friendly, family service and all dishes are freshly made from natural ingredients. we're worth it. no dyes and no flavor enhancers - where is that yet? the restaurant has only a few tables. Please reserve in advance.

average good bourgeois eating with partly seasonal oriented. no ambiente and it could be refurbished. price performance ok. has rather a pub character.
