had a great lunch here on a day trip from lausanne. the person who worked the outside was so friendly! (he was perhaps the owner. he also spoke English very well, which, although not necessary, we still appreciate. he seemed to know everyone. in the city, and they all made a point to stop and say hi to him how they were worn over their days. when we sat down, he told us we had three meal times and two meats from which we should choose. we could have a bun or lamb kebab on a plate, in a sandwich or as a burger. we ordered falafel (which seems not widely used as option, sandwich style. they were really good! huge portions, even for us Americans! we thought the sandwiches would be on the pita,...
Devenu fast food, les kebab ne sont plus considérés comme pouvant rimer avec qualité. Pourtant lorsqu'un patron passionné par son métier en fait depuis tant d'années, force est de constater la différence: viande moins grasse, ingrédients plus goûteux et galette de pain savoureuse. Le tout à prix similaire à ce qui se fait ailleurs, bravo! Le sourire et les quelques mots échangés ne gâche rien du plaisir, au contraire. A visiter sans hésitation à qui veut un kebab!
La décoration du restaurant ne donne pas forcément envie de s'y arrêter mais l'accueil chaleureux du patron et la nourriture excellente font que c'est toujours un plaisir d'y manger une spécialité orientale...de préférence en été, la terrasse dans la rue piétonne étant bien plus agréable que la salle plutôt sombre.
We stopped for lunch, not many people on the terrace or on site. We took two kebab plates, for my taste there was a lack of chicken, there were a lot of fries and very little chicken too bad. There was no bread, too bad The white sauce for the salad was tangy on the tongue… It's worth stopping

we have eaten here often, usually we take the plate with felafels. it's always delicious. the owners are very courteous, the place is clean and quiet, and on a beautiful day they can sit outside.
