Anatolia is authentic Turkish food in a 3 star area of Hemstead.We started with a shepherd salad served without olive oil or lemon juice dressing, not even salt. The meat dishes were seasoned well. Service was very friendly and curteous.The interior is clean but worn.The meal ended with a complimentary cup of delicious tea.Everything was going well untill we got the check. This restaurant adds a 20% gratuity to ALL checks we had only three people. While we normally tip anyway, I have a problem with a restaurant adding their own 20%, which led me to reduce the rating by 1 star. So I ordered via door dash and they was a mistake. We didn't realize how far the restaurant was from where I was located but my accepted my order anyways. The owner drove 15 miles himself to deliver my food. When I called the restaurant about the delay they explained the situation and was so kind. Their manti and babaghobush was amazing 10/10Customer service 10/10I will definitely visit the restaurant in person to try out more food. Very exciting I found this place.
During our first visit to the restaurant, we noticed that only two tables were occupied when we arrived. After placing our order, we had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive. My son accidentally bit into something spicy on his plate, and his mouth was on fire! We had to go up to the counter twice to ask for water before we finally received it. I went to Anatolia with my family and three friends to celebrate a few birthdays. The food was good, especially the appetizers, but the main dishes were a bit bland. However, we truly enjoyed the atmosphere and music.To our surprise, they brought out a birthday dessert for us, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, we had an amazing time celebrating with friends and family at Anatolia.
I visited this restaurant for my sister's birthday four days ago, and it was my first time there. I absolutely loved the food and the service. My experience was fantastic! I can confidently say it was excellent, with perfectly cooked dishes and attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Awesome food, service and aesthetic. Our waitress provided exceptional service. The mixed-meat pie and Turkish coffee are must-tries. I dined here with a friend of Turkish heritage who resides in Germany, and he said this is the best Turkish food he's had outside of his grandparents' house.
