The Mix platter featured Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Chicken Kebab, and Lamb Liver, all of which were fantastic. I particularly loved the Lamb Shish Kebab; I can confidently say it’s the best I’ve had in Long Island. The Lahmacun was tasty too, but since we were so full, I couldn't fully appreciate its flavor. Anatolia is authentic Turkish food in a 3 star area of Hemstead.We started with a shepherd salad served without olive oil or lemon juice dressing, not even salt. The meat dishes were seasoned well. Service was very friendly and curteous.The interior is clean but worn.The meal ended with a complimentary cup of delicious tea.Everything was going well untill we got the check. This restaurant adds a 20% gratuity to ALL checks we had only three people. While we normally tip anyway, I have a problem with a restaurant adding their own 20%, which led me to reduce the rating by 1 star. So I ordered via door dash and they was a mistake. We didn't realize how far the restaurant was from where I was located but my accepted my order anyways. The owner drove 15 miles himself to deliver my food. When I called the restaurant about the delay they explained the situation and was so kind. Their manti and babaghobush was amazing 10/10Customer service 10/10I will definitely visit the restaurant in person to try out more food. Very exciting I found this place.
I went to Anatolia with my family and three friends to celebrate a few birthdays. The food was good, especially the appetizers, but the main dishes were a bit bland. However, we truly enjoyed the atmosphere and music.To our surprise, they brought out a birthday dessert for us, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, we had an amazing time celebrating with friends and family at Anatolia.
Awesome food, service and aesthetic. Our waitress provided exceptional service. The mixed-meat pie and Turkish coffee are must-tries. I dined here with a friend of Turkish heritage who resides in Germany, and he said this is the best Turkish food he's had outside of his grandparents' house.
