My original review of this restaurant was positive, as I had a great experience and thought it was the best Ethiopian food I had ever had. The Injera bread was slightly smaller than usual, which I found to be a positive change. The portion sizes were good, the food was delicious, and the price was reasonable at 7 pounds for an eat-in meal. I had intended to return, but after this recent visit, I may reconsider.

Hate to be a contrarian but failed to see the merits of this otherwise charming place. Brusque service aside, the food was immensely disappointing. The injera was cold. From a no-choice of 3 dipping dishes only the greens were flavourful enough. The mince alternative was non-descript and the loose sauce lacked... identification. Perhaps it was an off day.

all aromen uuh my! it was a huge plate of injera with 6 different directed! I think it was also very cheap! only £10 for the whole meal! it was such a sweet little restaurant that gave me all Ethiopian vines with the aromen! this is defined as my favorite place marked when I come back to london to visit!

it was quite expensive for what it is. when they eat is £10, but if take away is literally half what doesn't make sense for me. felt like the service could improve a lot. and the fact that they do not accept card payments is quite unpleasant. updated by previous review on 2022-02-23 Réservez une table maintenant

Small menu which basically consists of a platter for on or two with injera bread or rice. Well worth the money and perfect place to meet friends and you feel immersed in Ethiopian culture as soon as you step inside. Food was really good with decent portion sizes.

The food never changes, but you know what you’re getting: pretty tasty food, a lot of it, and at a really low price. Service is casual, and the plating basic, but I don’t mind this. This is a great spot to bring your own drinks and eat good value food.

No choice of dishes, you just say how many people you are and are brought a sharing platter. Simple, tasty traditional food. Paid less than £10 each with drinks

perhaps not the best ingredients, but authentic Ethiopian aromes. affordable and for £5 take them out, get them 5 different samplings with injera/rice option Réservez une table maintenant

Good value, good nutrition, good times at the authentic Ethiopian place. One of my fave places in London. Please don’t change.
