We promised Mom and Dad a night of Mexican cuisine, and although we've been to Angelina in Lincoln Park before, we had never visited the Wyandotte location. Upon arrival, we placed our order at the front counter. After ordering a large amount of food, we settled at a nearby table as we waited for our meals to be prepared. While waiting, I took the chance to browse the menu, and there are so many dishes I'd like to come back and try. For tonight, I ordered the Pollo Ranchero, which features roasted chicken breast smothered in melted cheese and Spanish sauce, complemented by sides of refried beans and rice, and I chose flour tortillas (even though I couldn’t finish them). This restaurant does not offer authentic Mexican cuisine. While it wasn't terrible, I did find a small piece of wood in my taco. They also deep-fry the taco shells, which was a bit off-putting. However, the rice was quite good and flavorful, and our waitress was very attentive. The prices were reasonable, too. I did notice one of the staff members eating in the back kitchen, which seemed a bit unprofessional. Additionally, the music was too loud for my liking. Overall, I likely wouldn't choose to eat here again, but that's just my personal experience.
The food was tasty, but it felt like the waitress completely overlooked us after our meals arrived. I saw her serving other tables, taking their plates, and delivering their bills, even though they all arrived after us. Despite our 25-minute wait after finishing our meals, she never acknowledged us. Eventually, I had to go up to her and ask for the bill and some boxes to take our leftovers.
Great food! Great service! Always satisfied. A comfortable family atmosphere with beautiful decor and in the beautiful downtown Wyandotte on Biddle ave. Good place to stop for a fresh meal. Ordering the Torta (new menu from February 2020) and it was incredible. Offers with a variety of different meat and meat pieces. Recommend!

Very good service and even better food , everything tasted fresh (I know that sounds odd, but that was my first impression) the salsa had a pleasantly hot but sweet taste. I could go on and on stating what I liked. But honestly the food was very good and you can not go wrong by stopping in and trying it out for yourself.
I had always heard great things but had never been. Was shocked at how good the prices were in this 2023 economy! I hadn't paid less than $10.00 for a restaurant meal in what feels like years, until I ate here! Food was wonderful too.
Enjoyed the tostada dinner. My husband loved his combo plate. Service was very good, checking on us and refilling his pop. I like the colorful interior, a nice mood lifter on a grey winter. And the iced tea was fresh!
I had the shrimp fajita burrito this time, and it did not disappoint! It was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be ordering it again. The service was excellent as always.

The food was excellent, with fresh salad and tomatoes! I ordered six soft corn tortillas filled with flavorful beef and cheese.
I had lunch today and it was wonderful! The waitress was really friendly.
