Early in the day we tried booking a reservation online but they were already booked for the night! We took our chances and went anyway to see how long we would have to wait until we were seated. We ended up waiting half an hour which was pretty reasonable considering how packed the place was! <br/ <br/ Although there is definitely an urban vibe to Angeline’s it is also incredibly warm and comfortable. Despite being busy we could still hear each other speak despite the crowd.<br/ <br/ The sparkling strawberry lemonade was absolutely worth the $4! So delicious. A Must Try!<br/ <br/ Delectable dishes, fun atmosphere and wonderful staff. Ordered Angeline's Gumbo, Oyster Po' Boy, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken and of course Beignet for dessert...scrumptious!<br/ <br/ Parking is a pain (probably best to walk from a nearby paid parking lot or take Uber/Lyft).

This place was great! The food wasn't that pricey and the food itself was great. My grand parents are southern natives and it tasted like it was imported from their home. Would suggest that anybody in Berkeley gives this place a visit.
