Since I moved to the area 4 years ago, I have tried and reviewed every pizza place within five miles or so. Tonight, for the first time, I went to Angelo's in spring valley and ordered a 12 sausage and pepperoni pizza, partially baked I like to finish baking the pizza at home).First of all, it was ready in about ten minutes late afternoon, off peak). The crust was a bit sweet, very nice. The sausage was just the right amount of spicy and not salty...very nice. Pepperoni sliced thinly and flavorful..lots of it. The cheese was thick and fresh,Overall, this is the best pizza I have had in four years, and likely to be my go to place in the area. Wonderful
Only thing i regret was not coming here sooner ..They take pride in the food they serve treat you like a friend : there prime rib beef rolls my husband loves there fresh calamari is outstanding but be careful cause its addicting especially with the dipping sauce they serve even their salad they don't just give you some lettuce and call it a salad you get cucumber tomato a real salad .The dinning area is very cozy comfortable setting for a family meal or a romantic couples night out even just a me myself I quick bite to eat ...I highly recommend giving angelos a try asap or you will have the same regret I did by not coming here sooner ...
Plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible, you sit where you want. They have a fire place, not sure if it throws off heat or just for show. The food is fresh homemade. I had the stuffed pepper soup baked mostaccoli. And the special of the night, Beef roll. Very filling took most of it home. We wanted the deep dish pumpkin pie, but they didn’t have any whipped topping. Switched to the Apple pie. Thought it would have come out warmed up, not straight out of the cooler. It was very good (even the crust). We saw other peoples food, it all looked good.
The decor is lovely, but the service left much to be desired. While the other members of my group enjoyed their meals, my burger was overcooked, dry, and tough. I might consider trying the chicken on another visit, but with so many excellent chicken options in the area, I don't see a strong reason to give this place another shot.

We ordered carry out last night. Family Style Fried Chicken. It was excellent. Best Mostaccioli I have had in a very long time. Chicken was done to perfection. I loved the batter on the chicken. Crisp, not too heavy. Seriously perfect. Can't wait to go and eat there and try many more dishes! Kudos and thank you Angelos!
If you want the best fried chicken , homemade bread or rhubarb pie. look no further than Angelo's. I've never tasted any better before.
