Sadly after coming to this restaurant for 32 years we will probably not be back. Our steaks were tasteless and tough. The rolls were also very hard and we only received 2. We ask for a second bowl of salad because the serving was so small. A couple of positives the spaghetti was good and our Waitress was friendly even though they were clearly understaffed. Not sure what has happened to what was one of our favorites but would not recommend this restaurant at this point.
We came here for dinner while on vacation, celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday! The food was delicious—we had the Italian buffet. However, the waitress wearing workout clothing detracted from the 5-star ambiance. Madison was our server, but we barely received refills, and I had to ask the last time. I gave her a $5-off coupon. A 20% gratuity was added with no heads-up. Told us afterwards that a gratuity is added automatically with any coupon.
Angelo's truly feels like a home away from home. While the ambiance isn't extravagant, the food is wonderful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting from out of town. One of the best aspects is the affordability of the meals compared to many other places in the area. Finding a delicious meal at a great price is hard to beat.
My wife ordered the Italian buffet and was very pleased with her choice. I went for the 14oz ribeye, and wow, it was probably the best steak I've ever had. The steak was perfectly seared on the outside and cooked to a perfect medium red inside. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, this is an eating experience you absolutely must try! Trash trash!!! How is this place still in business!! I am sick to my stomach ? Please save your money and time! My steak was raw!! I asked for medium well not once but twice they couldn't get it right! Very overrated by locals ?????
Unless you live on a hill and your name is Billy consider twice before patronizing. The food was below average and atmosphere quite dated. The service was so so. Once was enough.
