Last time my partner and I came here, we remembered the service to be great and the food was quite good. After our visit today, our opinions changed. Unfortunately, after reading many of the other reviews, our experience was on par with others. We waited over 35 minutes for a sandwich and a few drinks. They were clearly short-staffed and waiting usually does not bother us. However, the quality of the food and drinks does. My sandwich was burnt. The scone was very dry and underwhelming. I was also really looking forward to my turmeric smoothie, but honestly, it tasted like nothing. I even added strawberries but that did not enhance the flavor. The coffee was watered down, and our order was mixed up twice. We will try one more time to give this place a fair review. I hope next time is better, because it is a very cozy atmosphere.
Food is great. Love the quality and uniqueness of items. Smoothies are huge and tasty too! Coffee is great.. they are a wonderful place and offer more, higher quality than many other Coffee shops in the surrounding area. Inside is clean, not as boutique like as some other places- but I would rather get what I'm paying for as far as food/drink opposed to paying for rustic walls with lots of items hanging and option to play a wall guitar. Quality food and drink that is prepared expertly is what I value! Would rather want to drink my latte as opposed to just take a picture of it in my hand.
I wanted something light but also wanted to try it here for the first time. I ordered the soup of the day—the cheesy chicken tortilla soup. It came with two warm grilled bread pieces. If it were me I would have had a little more chicken in it but I really can’t complain because it was delicious!
