What a disappointment! Angie went to pandemic! You now calculate $5.50 for Stale chips that were previously free? Prices have risen. The burrito was so warm that the cheese was not melted. They heated it and it was like Gooey Putty, YUK! I ordered the steak chimichanga and was hard and fat and I couldn't eat it. When the server asked how the meal was, I explained how terrible it really was. I could hear the server imitating me in the kitchen as if it was a joke. I told her I would pick up a pizza on my way home because I was hungry. The manager should cook on the back and suddenly the guy was on the desk as a manager. He didn't make excuses or adjustments to my $38 check. Angie used to be delicious. We visited Angie twice a month before COVID, but not anymore! The best thing about Angie's is Faye! She's amazing!
How many people Angie recommended us... We're here a few times, so we're not experts... That said the food is always great, the coffee is excellent, the menu is extensive, we never had a bad experience, and we love the atmosphere! My husband really likes her chick (not only breakfast, all of them), and I love her eggs Benedict the Hollandaise is tasteful, but not super heavy... it's just delicious and yes, they're going to be with pork roll! My father recommends the chorizo... and her tacos, Fajitas, etc. are sooooo good! During our last visit the server was something on the creepy side, but maybe we caught the person on a free day. In any case, the food lives until the hype!
Since it was rated high, we expected much better. Honestly, just go somewhere else. It's not worth it at all. The food was hardly warm. Our waitress wasn't attentive, and when we asked for condiments, we had to wait for the food to get colder. The place itself was strangely warm. Outside felt cooler than in the restaurant.
