Best PORK CHOPS I've EVER had! What a great experience for my palate. Breaded, well seasoned and fried to perfection.... wasn't too sure about this place at first. I would often drive passed and notice the bright neon sign outside and it definitely struck my interest but it was always just an intriguing thought until..... Ok....... So not a fan.... Was hopeful because of all the positive reviews..... However, I table with crying and kids came in after us but go's served first.... And that was last welcome...... the colliers greens were great.... Would have been amazing with Louisiana pepper juice... But nope... Don't have that .....the Mac and cheese was good... No complaints..... Now... Let's do hat about my frozen burger patty and not so happy... But ate it so didn't have to choose alternative.... Rib tips that Steve had... Not so smokey.. And smothered in open pit. Could have been mad at home in crock pot.... And we would have done better..... Service was jostling ok. She came by to check... But not social...

Le décor était décontracté, mais agréable, et le personnel était sympathique. Ce restaurant est ce que j'appelle un restaurant authentique et délicieux. Il n'y a rien de sophistiqué ou de moderne à propos d'Angles. Donc, si vous cherchez une ambiance et une décoration élégante, comme si vous diniez à la villa Macri ou chez Parisi's, vous ne les trouverez pas. Angles pourrait certainement bénéficier d'une mise à jour et d'une rénovation. Mais si vous voulez un bon repas authentique et copieux, avec une petite touche du sud, allez à Angles. Un plat qu'ils avaient sur leur menu que j'ai adoré sont leurs légumes verts. Je ne sais pas s'ils étaient des feuilles de chou frisé ou de moutarde, mais dans tous les cas, c'étaient parmi les MEILLEURS légumes verts que j'ai JAMAIS...

My husbands company had this restaurant cater some luncheon, he came home and insisted that we have lunch there on the weekend. The weekend came, and we made the short drive out to Angles, he HAD to have the fish, while I love home made ribs! If you like some good old down home cookin, I 110% suggest Angles!!! The rib meat feel off the bone, and the catfish was so awesome!! Nice and clean tasting, I am very picky when it comes to fish, but the next time we go there I am getting the FISH, with double helping of collard greens!! Loved it!! And there is a T.V. at every booth so you can watch the game, instead of wrenching your neck to see the big screen! LOVE IT!!! CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT IT...
Homemade macaroni and cheese at it's finest. It does not matter what main course I order I will always get their mac and cheese as an accompaniment. This says a lot since I usually do not like restaurant mac and cheese. However, this is creamy and never dry. My favorite main dish is the pot roast. You get a big chunk of meat that is full of delicious seasonings. The pot roast is not served up with filler veggies. You pay for the meat and you get a plate of meat.
I am stingy with my 5's but I can't help it- I love this place. The mini-tips, collard greens, cole slaw and catfish are top shelf. I enjoy the comfortable small bar, west side atmosphere. It is a great find for us. I recommend this spot when you're in the mood for homemade soul food at its finest.
C'est l'un de mes endroits préférés pour manger, et les prix sont très raisonnables. J'y suis allé plusieurs fois et je n'ai jamais été déçu par le service et la nourriture. Donc si vous cherchez un goût de cuisine traditionnelle, c'est l'endroit où aller.

Food was good but they need to get the phones fixed because when i called they would say hello and then you couldnt here anything else. Otherwise it wasnt bad and pretty cheap too!
Great service this time but they got to keep the bathrooms clean especially the women's
