When the food finally arrived, the salmon didn’t taste like salmon at all, and the pasta was just mediocre. My dad was really let down by this experience. It was also uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. To top it off, when the bread was served, we noticed bugs crawling out of the basket and onto the bread. After seeing that, we didn’t touch it.
My dad ordered a veal steak, but it was cooked poorly. He took a bite and nearly gagged. He regretted not sticking with the pasta and meatballs. My sister ordered a single slice of pizza that was burnt and had blackened spots all over it, tasting like charcoal.

Food is just ok. This place is formerly Angoletto’s and changed names to Pronto Umbertos of New Hyde Park.Ala vodka is saucy, marinara is not bad. Eggplant is good but mushy. Chicken parmigiana way too salty. Marsala is bland. Meatballs are so dense with so much breadcrumbs. Pasta with broccoli bland and watery. Umberto’s of New Hyde Park is way better! Came here only for the $39.99, $44 with tax) Family Meal which for hungry kids is a great deal, but increased their price to $55.00 with tax. I will not be coming back and will go back to my other places that have family meals with better tasting food, and more options.

Large dining room for dining in. Also a large dining area at the counter, in case you want to order a slice or sandwich without having to have waitress service. I had 2 slices of pizza, which were very good. In my experience, most pizza is undercooked, sowhen you fold over a slice, the front end flops down. This pizza stayed firm when folded. My wife had a chicken parm hero, whichshe said was excellent.

Good quality food, nice quaint little Italian Restaurant. They do good pizza too but it's been awhile since I had it. We like the special nights, pasta and chicken. You get to pick a pasta dish and you get salad and a coffee and cheesecake included. The ala Vodka was really good. The cheesecake was the Italian style made with Ricotta, very thick and firm with a good taste and a hint of lemon.
Nice place on the corner , Margherita and Grandma slice. I gotta say this was better then expected. The sauce on the Margherita slice was really good, Rich fresh tomato sauce , very soft chewy mozzarella and fresh Basil. The Grandma slice was just the way I like it , the right toast on that cheese. Excellent crust on these slight crunch out, soft in. Good Good pizza.
Im Cliff........56 years old.....have never eaten inside but the pizza is BEST ON LONG ISLAND. I grew up in Valley Stream, several good pizzas back in the day, no more though. good pizza is hard to find. Angelletos makes a bake ziti pizza that once you eat it,,,,,the addiction begins......Best pizza
My second time having their pizza ???? first time I take out) this time I dined in... the pizza was delicious and so was my coffee and the staff was excellent and friendly and the place was very clean.. looking forward to patronising this establishmentagain

It's a glorified pizza place but the food was excellent. Service was also very good. Will definitely be going back.
